Weezer BIO
Weezer is an American alternative rock band known for melodic songwriting, guitar-driven arrangements, and enduring singalong favorites. The band's catalog includes landmark releases such as Weezer (The Blue Album) and Pinkerton, along with popular songs including “Buddy Holly,” “Say It Ain't So,” and “Island in the Sun.” Their combination of power-pop hooks and offbeat humor has helped them remain a distinctive presence in alternative music.
On October 2, 2026, Weezer is scheduled to perform at Capital One Arena in Washington as part of Weezer, The Shins & Silversun Pickups. The lineup pairs Weezer with two acclaimed alternative acts: The Shins, known for carefully layered indie-rock songs, and Silversun Pickups, recognized for atmospheric guitar textures. The event offers a three-band bill spanning complementary styles within modern alternative rock.
Washington's central location and lively concert scene make the city a natural stop for major touring performances. This listing is for Concerts in the Alternative category at Capital One Arena; ticketscapitalonearena.com provides event-guide information for the venue.
Venue and Seating Information
Capital One Arena is a large indoor venue in downtown Washington. Seating experience can vary by event setup, so check the seat map and event details when choosing tickets. Lower-level seats closer to the stage generally offer a more immediate view, while elevated sections can provide a broader perspective of the full production.
For a multi-act concert, consider how much you value proximity, sightlines, and an overall view of the stage when comparing sections. Avoid relying on assumptions about individual seats: stage configuration and any production equipment can affect visibility, and the arrangement may differ from one event to another.
Parking Information
Parking plans for an arena concert can benefit from comparing nearby garages with transit and other arrival options. Availability, access, and pricing may change for the event, so confirm current details before traveling.
- Look for public garages in the downtown area and allow extra time to reach the arena around showtime.
- Consider transit or a drop-off option if you prefer not to search for a space during peak arrival periods.
- Review parking restrictions and post-event exit conditions before selecting a lot.
Weezer Capital One Arena Concert reviews
Front Row Ice Level was Magical and Very $$$
We were fortunate to secure front row ice level seats for our group before the ticket resellers swooped in. It was a splurge at $75 per seat plus all the TicketMaster fees. Our first show with our just over 2 year old twins was a lovely experience. Thank you, Weezer, for offering a variety of times. I only found out about the show after tickets had been on sale for weeks, so our options were limited for the desired 10:30 am weekday showtime. The other showtimes didn't align with our toddler's sleep schedule, so we appreciated the flexibility. We had a smooth entry into the venue (Royal Farms Arena, Baltimore) thanks to a prepaid parking reservation and helpful arena staff directing pedestrians. Finding our seats was easy with plenty of ushers available to assist.
The family show was a delightful experience for all of us. To prepare the kids, we watched a 42-minute UTube video from an amateur's front-row view of Frozen on Ice. The performance dazzled them, especially the thrilling chase scene with the impressive "Marshmallow".
Our friends encountered some frustrating issues at the 11 am and 6 pm Saturday shows. Those at the 6 pm show, in particular, had front row balcony/2nd level seats, offering a great view, but their experience was marred by people constantly blocking their view in the walkway. This situation should have been addressed by the ushers, as dealing with rude individuals detracted from their enjoyment of the show.
